Utah Olympic Oval

Overview
The Utah Olympic Oval plays a big part in the Oval Speed Skating Club's well being. It was named an official US Olympic Training Site and it's were we skate and train along side past, present and future Olympians.

The Oval offers programs for anyone to participate in depending on their level. They are:
- Open short & long track speedskating
- Learn To speedskate (both short and long track)
- Strength, Training, Endurance & Power (STEP) Training
- FAST short & long track training

Events
The Oval Speed Skating Club's home rink is the Utah Olympic Oval. They offer programs that the OSSC members are asked to participate in, thus we do not have to buy out ice times, allowing a low club member yearly fee. (Other clubs have to pay upwards of $100+ a year to cover ice times.) To thank them for letting us skate at the Oval we have offered to help them promote it by attending fair booths, marching in parades and other such activities. If you skate/train at the Oval please meet for some of the activitie(s) below.

**As a member of the Oval Speed Skating Club, your participation will be documented and you may be eligible to receive support funds for out of state races.
